Colour scheme ideas, Name ideas and feature story ideas

Names: NCP LOUD VIBE INDIE PHOENIX INDI GREY RAY WIRE ASHES SOUND ALTERNATIVE UNCONVENTIONAL For my music magazine I wanted the name to be simple and to give a sense of what the magazine is like. This is why I have comprised a list of every name that that I have thought that could fill this specification. Overall I thought of 12 names, the names that I like best are VIBE, PHOENIX, and WIRE. Out of these I took a survey and the one that had the most positive response is VIBE. This is why I will be using it for my magazine. Fonts: MV boli -  New gothic -  Pescedero -  Poor richard -  Prestige eilite std -  Rockwell extra bold -  segoe marker -  segoe print -  lilly UPC -  Aharoni -  After searching for fonts that I think would suit the indie genre I came up with 10 fonts that I thought all would be good for my masthead. When I got all of the fonts that I wanted I could not choose between them. So I put them all in a table and asked my friends and family to vote. The one that came out on top was Aharoni. I will now use Aharoni in my magazine. Colours: 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) 7) On this website (adobe colour wheel CC) after I have found the right colour I put it in as the primary to the color wheel and the best colour that I have found that best go with it pink and blue. 8) After I chose what my font size would be I decided to choose the colour. When I was choosing my colours I needed to decide which colours would stand out however you still need to be able to read what it says. This is why I have chosen to use the first one. I think it will stand out from the page and attract readers. The second favorite one that I have chose is number 8, this is because I think that it would work well with the colours black, white and grey, as I know that they work well together. These would be my next choice if I decided to redesign my magazine.
